Nick Kyrgios’ most uncomfortable moment with Serena Williams

The American tennis legend Serena Williams has won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles with her sister, Venus Williams. Along with her exploits in the doubles circuit, she has also played mixed doubles with several stars on the ATP Tour. And Nick Kyrgios was one of them, as they joined hands to play at the IPTL. Though playing with Serena Williams would be an opportunity many players would love to experience, the same could not be said for the Australian.

He further explained the root cause for the same – Serena’s dominance. He said, “because she was trying to do everything, and I was like, “I’m better than you.” I’m not taking anything away, but when I play mixed doubles like I’m serving 230, bro.”

The two players couldn’t come to a favorable understanding during the first match and thus suffered. As he further added, “I thought like she wasn’t taking all the balls, taking middle balls, and I’m like we got chopped bro, it was like 6-2, and I was like, Serena you gonna get me involved, do you like we are getting snipped, like let me the f*cking ball’.. dude first game she is serving first, and I’m like what the fuck!”
