Stefanos Tsitsipas posted a heartwarming story, featuring morning sun and Paula Badosa glowing. While the Spanish star looked beautiful, it was their banter that captured everyone’s heart. In the video shared by Tsitsipas, Badosa was seen posing as the Greek star filmed her. And suddenly breaking the character, he asked her, “Why are you posing?” Badosa, with a smile, hesitantly answered, “Because you are taking a picture, so..” And the couple simultaneously bursted out laughing, enjoying the moment. Tsitsipas shared this intimate moment, with the caption, “Good morning, good luck, and happy birthday to my favorite girl!”

However, this isn’t the first time that Tsitsipas has given a romantic surprise to Badosa. From going on surprise dates to posting lovely messages for his partner, Tsitsipas has publicly showered love on Badosa, numerous times. Praising her boyfriend a few days ago while talking to Euro Sport, Badosa said, “We have something that is also very beautiful in a couple, which is to admire the other. We respect and admire each other a lot. Hearing those words from a great athlete like him motivates me. That your partner believes in you also helps.”

Rightly so, a supportive partner does make things easier. However, there is one moment that is engraved in Badosa’s heart, more than the others, the dark moment when Badosa thought of giving up on tennis. It was Tsitsipas who held her steadfast on the court in her low moments.

When Stefanos Tsitsipas helped Paula Badosa move on from injuries towards tennis

Back in 2022, Badosa was the World No.2, aiming to rise to the top and claim a few big titles. However, things spiraled down very fast for the Spaniard, as injuries haunted her thereafter in 2023. Fed up with the consistent decline in form, racked with injuries, Badosa even thought of quitting the sport. However, it was Tsitsipas who was there beside her, pushing her to get back on the court and rise back from the ashes, like a phoenix.

Opening up about the hard times, and how much Tsitsipas’s support mattered to her, Badosa said, “I’ll never forget it. I wasn’t doing well. I wasn’t where I wanted to be. And I told him: I think I’m going to retire this year, I don’t see myself going back to that. And he looked at me with a face like I was crazy and said: ‘You’re going to be back in the top 10 soon’. I looked at him and said: ‘You love me a lot (laughs).”

The couple has had each other’s back time and again, and yes! Stefanos Tsitsipas does love her a lot. Hopefully, Badosa’s birthday comes with a winning gift on the court!
