As the United cup is underway, Team USA proceeded to the final after their victory over Poland. On their journey to the finale, the USA pulled a clean sweep over Poland, 5-0. Jessica Pegula, Frances Tiafoe, Madison Keys, and Taylor Fritz pulled an impressive singles win over their Polish opponents. However, what impressed the American star, Tiafoe, was Pegula’s win over the current World No.1 Iga Swiatek, who had claimed 2 Grand Slam titles last season.

The stars were involved in a playful banter after their semi-final win, where Tiafoe declared his alternative career choice. Which might have not impressed his fellow compatriot, Pegula.

Consequently, Frances Tiafoe, Pegula’s teammate, took advantage of the moment, as he teased the World No.3 after her stunning victory during their press conference. He said, “No, but it was great, honestly. Just, again, like seeing Jess play today, inspired me a lot. Super happy for her.”
