Last year, Frances Tiafoe and his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield celebrated 8 years of their relationship. Both of them met each other very early in their respective careers. Both of them have busy schedules throughout the year. But whenever they get the chance, they always make sure to engage in one way or the other to share their common love for tennis. Recently, they took part in a service challenge and Broomfield couldn’t hold her frustration after losing.

Tiafoe had just made his debut as a professional tennis player when he met Broomfield. In all these years, Ayan Broomfield has been his constant pillar of support throughout the journey.

A few hours ago, Broomfield shared one of her similar serious moments, taking her frustration out after losing a challenge, while Tiafoe gave a witty smile after defeating her. Ayan Broomfield posted the clip of their challenge on Instagram with a caption, “I thought I had him.” She also said, “This morning Frances and I were at practice and we were trying to back and forth about whose serve is more better. And see whose is more accurate.” Tiafoe said, “And I’m always more accurate.”

Broomfield then said, “So what we’re going to do is put some targets and see who hits them first.” Although the Canadian came close to hitting the target once, Tiafoe had the last laugh. After successfully completing the challenge, Tiafoe said, “I beat her once again.” To this Broomfield replied, “Whatever. Took a Fat L.”

During an interview, Frances Tiafoe had once called Ayan Broomfield to be his role model. Broomfield is frequently seen cheering for the American tennis star from the player’s box in several tournaments.

Talking about the role of tennis in their relationship, Broomfield said, “We can talk about tennis. I mean, I played tennis myself. So even just when we’re seeing the draw, and we kind of look at certain players, sometimes I can act as a sounding board for matches.”

Does Frances Tiafoe take advice from his girlfriend? “Not to say that he takes my advice, but it’s nice to be able to chat about it and strategy. I just feel like we just understand it and what it takes for someone to go and be able to compete at the highest level,” said Ayan Broomfield.
