The match went into three intense sets and ended in the Serb’s favor, winning 7-6, 2-6, 7-5. Although, Zverev will have fond memories of beating Djokovic in the final of the 2018 ATP Finals in London.

He even went as far as stating that he felt unsure if he would be able to step on the court for his next match. However, he managed to get the job done against Raonic yesterday but wasn’t his usual self.
Zverev will step on the court with a better mindset and considering he has won his recent matches with ease, he finds himself in a better position going into the quarterfinals.
Although Djokovic won their previous four matches, the German player has the best chance to beat a slightly uncomfortable Novak in their next match at the Australian Open 2021.
