The Swiss Maestro is almost 40 years old and 2021 could very well be his last year. He needs a proper send-off from his fans if that happens. However, the Tennis Australia chief is not too worried. He said,
“I’ve known Roger for a long time, and I think we’ll have a couple more years of Roger. I’ll certainly use that as motivation to encourage him to keep playing until we can give him a proper send-off in front of a full crowd. I don’t know if it will have much impact, but I’ll give it a go!”

While it was terrible to hear that Roger wouldn’t be playing in 2020, there was some good news. The Swiss Maestro did not indicate in any way that he will be retiring soon and the reason for this is probably his Grand Slam record.
