When Sergio Aguero signed for Manchester City in 2011, it took the club to unprecedented heights. What followed was a host of Premier League titles and domestic cups. Manchester City’s new owners invested heavily into the club and thus began their reigning dominance. Philippe Coutinho is on the radar

The first player they are looking at is former Premier League sensation, Philippe Coutinho. He is currently playing in Barcelona while the club faces an unprecedented financial debt. Hence, Barca might be open to off-loading players in the January transfer window which works in favor of Newcastle’s new owners.

Notably, the club wanted to sell the player in the summer, but there were not enough offers coming in. Thus, with the new ownership in place, Barcelona wants 50 million pounds for the player of the new management in England. The player was inducted into the PFA Team of the Year in 2015.
