The former Charlotte Hornets guard Malik Monk torched the Atlanta Hawks last night as the Lakers won at home. He dropped 29 points in an incredible performance which basically saw him carry the offense for the Lakers in the first half. As we know, they brought Malik Monk over from the Charlotte Hornets after they no longer required his services. However, some NBA fans made an interesting observation about LeBron James’ role in convincing him to come to the Lakers.

In the comments section of LeBron James’ post-game press conference, some NBA fans wrote on the lines of “LeBron James snatched Malik Monk away from Michael Jordan”. Some others added that this again shows he’s better than Michael Jordan. These are some reactions of fans that yet again ignited the GOAT debate.

Since Malik Monk signed in free agency with the Lakers after playing in Jordan’s Hornets.
