The Golden State Warriors are longing for the return of Klay Thompson as he is very crucial to the championship ambitions of the Warriors. Therefore, the Warriors entire seasons’ plan involves a three-pronged approach revolving around his return. According to his fellow splash brother Stephen Curry, the Warriors are looking at the next season in three separate sections.
Each section will involve a different approach to the game depending mainly on the availability and fitness of Klay. In an interview with The Athletic’s David Aldridge and Marcus Thompson II, Curry was discussing what the rotation plans for the roster will be.
He said, “We’ve almost got like three seasons in one. It’s like the anticipation for Klay coming back; whenever he does come back, that first, maybe, month or six weeks, where you figure out what he looks like and getting his legs underneath him, and then you have the playoff push. We’re kind of breaking it up into those segments, and hopefully, we take care of our business.”

Like their 2014-15 roster, this time as well Warriors have similar veteran pieces as they did in that roster with a lot more young talent. Therefore, their championship ambitions will be stronger than, if not similar to that season.
