Whenever there is a mention about the Warriors’ dynasty, two names pop up, the Splash brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Both the guards have formed one of the deadliest backcourts and have terrorized NBA defenses for years now.
With incredible shooting ability and the skill to make incredible passes, the Splash brothers have defined an era of change in basketball. While Curry often took the plaudits like the MVP trophy and else, it was Klay who was pivotal for Steph to flourish.
Despite being capable of shooting lights out day in and day out, Thompson resorted to a two-way role. While he did add 20+ points regularly, he could also lockup other star guards. Given how incredible the duo have worked over the years, the two looked like a must for NBA’s recent top 75 players list.

After missing two consecutive seasons with various injuries, Thompson certainly is eager to prove how quality of a player he is. While other shooting guards have emerged in his absence, there is no denying how lethal Klay was prior to his ACL tear.
The snub from the top 75 list only adds another chip on his shoulder to silence his critics. Despite missing him for the first two games, the Warriors already look incredible. If Thompson is really back to his full strength, it is scary to imagine what’s in store for NBA fans.
