Stephen Curry has helped revolutionize the game as we know it today. Often referred to as the best three-point shooter basketball has seen, Curry has gained the status of a legend over the years. From fans to other NBA greats, many have appreciated his contributions to the league and the game.

In a 2019 interview, NBA icon Allen Iverson spoke about Curry, and how he loves the Golden State Warriors icon a lot. Curry is known for his off-court charm as well as his on-court persona. Together, they have made him one of the most liked stars in the league.

While speaking to Complex Sports on their Load Management podcast, Iverson mentioned Steph as a player he loved.

“I love Steph so much,” Iverson said, putting him on his top five all-time list. “I think he changed the game sort of like I did. Greatest shooter that will ever play the game — that’s what I think”.

Furthermore, he even complimented Curry’s jump shot and ball-handling. At the end of the day, the Philadelphia 76ers legend is just a Curry fan.

Who else is on Iverson’s top 5 list?

Having said that, Iverson’s top five also included Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James.

Of course, there have been other instances where Iverson has shown his support for Curry. In a clip of the two icons embracing, Iverson told Curry himself that he was in the top five.

On the other hand, Curry and the Warriors are currently on a six-game winning streak. Curry is having another MVP-worthy season, scoring 25.7 points per game.

Iverson, who played 14 seasons in the NBA, spent most of his time with the 76ers. Though he did not win any title during his career, Iverson is also considered to be one of the greatest to play in the league. The 46-year-old played with the Sixers in 2010 before retiring.
