

In what was a surprising turn of events, Mikaela Shiffrin once again faltered at the Beijing Winter Olympics. A shocked Shiffrin could not believe what had happened.?The two-time Olympic gold medalist is now out of the slalom and giant slalom competitions. She is processing her thoughts on what must have happened during these two events.

However, thankfully, Mikaela has the love and support of her fans, fellow athletes, and closed one.?She reposted a heartwarming message from her boyfriend on her Instagram story. Being with her all the time, Shiffrin says she’s blessed to have met Aleksander Aamodt Kilde.
Mikaela Shiffrin shares Kilde’s message
The sensational skier is one of the best in the world. On her way to recapture her 2018 giant slalom gold medal, she slipped, to the disbelief of fans. With that competition done and dusted, she headed for the slalom competition. But, trying to maintain an aggressive approach, she fluffed her lines and ended up slipping, yet again.
When all that happened, fans sent their regards and support for the talented skier. Shiffrin‘s boyfriend, Aleksander, wrote a lovely message for her to keep her spirits high.

Shiffrin reposted the messageg on her story, and wrote,?“My hope for every human is that they find another human who finds a way to love, understand, and heal them in the way @akilde has done and continues to for me.”
With three more competitions yet to come, people expect her to return to the limelight. However, with rumors stating that she may quit, the prospects for another gold medal are unlikely.

Should she quit right now?
The importance of mental health during sports competitions is extremely important, as Simone Biles showcased in the Tokyo Olympics. Thus, Shiffrin may have something to think about. However, if she manages to win from here, no words would be able to do justice to her grit and passion.
