

The Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 is gathering pace. The USA has a strong contingent in Beijing as they look to dominate the Winter Olympics. They have three silver medals right now, with a lot of competitions yet to be played out. Two athletes who will be instrumental to their success are Chloe Kim and Shaun White. Undoubtedly, with previous Olympic experience, these athletes will play a significant part in Team USA’s medal tally.

With both competing in the half-pipe competition, they are favorites for gold. Recently, they met each other during a practice session, as they shared a post on Instagram, too.

Chloe Kim and Shaun White get together
Zhangjiakou will host the snowboarding half-pipe competitions. In a stunning photo from the top of the hill, Kim and White are seen embracing each other. With a stunning backdrop and fans and vegetation down below, day one of practice couldn’t get any better for them. Not to mention, the Olympics rings logo adds color to the image with a terrifying half-pipe track underneath.

Notably, Chloe also added two other pictures to the slide; one of her against the Olympic logo and another of her getting some much-needed rest. Given their energy, these two will certainly provide the spark for other competitors to perform better at the Winter Olympics.

Can they win the gold medal?
With Shaun White appearing in his last Olympic Games, he would love to cherish this moment. He has been one of the best snowboarders in the world for nearly two decades as his career now comes to a close. Winning a fourth Olympic gold medal would be a sight to savor. But things are not straightforward with Ayumu Hirano in the house.
