Emelianenko is 44 years old, and many thought that his fight against Jackson would be his last. However, the fighter believes he still can compete and is eager to step inside the cage once again. Since 2018, the fighter has competed in 4 fights, winning 3, and has proved that age is just a number for ‘The Last Emperor.’

Since Emelianenko announced his desire to return to action, many fighters wanted to compete with him. There were many names thrown around, but Tim Johnson is the lucky, or rather unlucky, one.

Currently ranked No.2 in the Bellator Heavyweight rankings, Johnson has a point to prove. He has an MMA record of (15-7) which isn’t stellar, but the fighter’s recent form is significant, as he has won 3 out of his last 4 fights. This fight is touted to be the second last fight in Emelianenko’s MMA career as the fighter just has 2 fights left in his Bellator contract.
