Usman Nurmagomedov to Feature on Fedor Emelianenko’s Bellator Card

Usman Nurmagomedov is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in MMA. The younger cousin of legendary MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, the fighter, has had a terrific start to his MMA career. Currently, the fighter is (13-0) in his MMA career and won his last fight with a 1st round TKO.
Ever since Nurmagomedov’s victory against Manny Muro at Bellator 263, people have been eagerly waiting to see the fighter back in action. And now, according to the latest news, the fighter is set to face Patrik Pietila at the Bellator 269 event.
Pietila has an MMA record of (11-8). However, this will be his Bellator MMA debut. Meanwhile, this will be Nurmagomedov’s 3rd Bellator fight, having won his earlier 2 fights.

Usman Nurmagomedov and Vitaly Minakov have been added to Bellator’s Fedor vs. Johnson card Oct. 23 in Moscow, Russia. Minakov, the former Bellator heavyweight champion, has not fought since 2019.

Apart from Usman Nurmagomedov, former heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov will also compete in the event. ‘The New Emperor’ last fought back in 2019 as he defeated Timothy Johnson at the Bellator 225 event. Minakov was scheduled to face Tyrell Fortune on October 23, 2021, at Bellator 269.
However, Fortune had to withdraw from the match due to unknown reasons. Therefore, ‘The New Emperor’ will now face Said Sowma at the Bellator 269 event on October 23, 2021. Combat sports reporter Marc Raimondi posted about the fights on his Twitter account.

He wrote, “Usman Nurmagomedov and Vitaly Minakov have been added to Bellator’s Fedor vs. Johnson card Oct. 23 in Moscow, Russia. Minakov, the former Bellator heavyweight champion, has not fought since 2019.”
