Lack of proper form becomes the villain

As soon as the youngster lifted the first dumbbell in the wrong way, his right hand snapped, injuring him severely. The dumbbells looked pretty heavy for the fitness freak, and he even lacked proper form, which led to him facing failure.

Proper form is important while doing any exercise in the gym. Even bodybuilding legends like the seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger and Frank Zane always encourage netizens to work on their form. But when people push their limits and lift heavy weight beyond their capabilities, they get affected the most, leading to injuries.

According to a study done by the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, exercise-related face and head injuries have increased by almost 33 percent in the past decade. The ages of 15 to 19 are the ones getting injured the most, a fact confirmed by many such videos showcasing youngsters getting injured after engaging in ego lifting.

While one might think that fitness enthusiasts watching the video would have been sympathetic to the gymgoer, most who took to the comments section of the post bashed him for his wrong form and ego-lifting.
