Dominican Actor and Classic Physique Icon Wins Olympia 2024 Qualification

Dominican Classic Physique athlete Fabiony Sylvain has recently fulfilled a dream coveted by most bodybuilders: qualifying for the Mr. Olympia stage. Sylvain had secured sixth place in the IFBB Puerto Rico Pro back in 2022. And now he has made huge strides after placing in yet another competition, winning his qualification and sending waves in the bodybuilding community.

Apart from bodybuilding, the Dominican bodybuilder has another passion as well, having acted in various movies and film series. With over 2 million fans on his TikTok account and over three hundred thousand followers on Instagram, Sylvain is an internet celebrity as well. That being said, which competition did Sylvain win to secure his place in the 2024 Olympia championship?

Instagram bodybuilding page “bisandtris” broke the news of the Dominican bodybuilder winning the Classic Physique title at the Charlotte Pro 2024. The event took place in North Carolina and was scheduled for April 6 and 7. According to reports, Bodybuilders who score a win in any IFBB Pro competitions before September 15 can compete in the 2024 Mr. Olympia on its 60th anniversary.

The final call-out of the prejudging at the event was between Sylvain and James Yount, and it was an intense bout of posing. But Sylvain defeated Yount and lifted the Classic Physique title, with Tomas Adame winning the third place. The Dominican bodybuilder and actor also posted a picture of his victory with the trophy and wrote a heartfelt message on his Instagram account.

Sylvain wrote, “Trust the process keep the faith push as hard as you can but never think about stopping.” He further showed his gratitude to his coach, thanking him for standing by him even during the times when he failed. Highlighting the struggles he faced, Sylvain further wrote, “We are here today after all these bad situations we went through years after years rupture in my chest. Colon cancer and I still haven’t stopped just saying this.While there is no concrete update on whether he’ll compete in the Mr. Olympia, Sylvain hinted at a participation in the caption and wrote, “Thank you my God let’s go to @mrolympiallc 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴.

Just like the Dominican bodybuilder fulfilled his dream of securing his place at such a prestigious competition, Rafael Brandao, an IFBB Elite Pro bodybuilder, also paved his way to the Mr. Olympia championship this year.

A tough battle for the title at the Arnold Sports Festival South America

Rafael Brandao competed in the Men’s Open division category in the ongoing Arnold Sports Festival South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and emerged victorious in the final bout. Earlier the Brazilian bodybuilder finished in the third place at the Arnold Classic Ohio 2024. An Instagram post, shared by the page “bisnandtris“, declared Brandao as the winner and captioned the image, “@rafabrandaopro wins the Arnold Classic Brazil Bodybuilding Title!

The Brazilian bodybuilder and the New York Pro champion Tonio Burton were the finalists and in a close battle, Brandao lifted the title. Burton was the runner-up and the IFBB Pro Elite bodybuilder Ugolnikov Vitalii secured third place in the competition giving everyone a tough run.
