Arnold Classic Insider Deals Harsh 7-Word Blow to Samson Dauda in Public Bashing Amid IFBB Pro Show Debacle

The upcoming IFBB Pro League show in Pittsburgh is making waves in the bodybuilding community. The upcoming May 11, 2024, contest recently revealed a star-studded lineup of guest posers. The announcement has caused quite an uproar among bodybuilding fans. However, Arnold Sports Festival Executive Director Brian Powers has made a bizarre comment about the show.
After the official announcement by the Pittsburgh Pro’s social media handles, the Instagram page Bis and Tris posted the same. The page listed the bodybuilders who “are set to guest-pose,” at the contest. While champion bodybuilders often grace the stages of such IFBB contests, Pittsburgh Pro aims to bring the star power.
Derek Lunsford, Samson Dauda, Nick Walker, Big Ramy, Andrew Jacked, and Hunter Labrada are part of the guest posers list. The IFBB Pro League show even promised that five-time Classic Physique champ Chris Bumstead would be a special guest at the event. However, Brian Powers had some harsh. “Who has even heard of these stiffs?” commented Powers.

Besides being harsh, the comment also came across as bizarre. Samson Dauda recently competed in back-to-back Arnold Classics in Ohio and Birmingham, UK. Powers was the one in charge of production. Besides Samson Dauda, reigning Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford and other top challengers like Nick Walker and Andrew Jacked will also guest pose at the IFBB contest.
Brian Powers also did not indicate whether he commented jokingly. Arnold Schwarzenegger raised the stakes for next year’s Arnold Classic by promising to offer $100,000 more than the IFBB Mr. Olympia. Since then, multiple shows have also stepped up. The Dubai Pro increased its prize money, while the IFBB Pro League show will host the biggest ensemble of guest posers.
However, Brian Powers isn’t the only one who has raised questions about the decision. Fans on multiple threads have asked about the absence of the reigning Arnold Classic champion.
Why isn’t Hadi Choopan part of the IFBB shows guest list?

After losing his Mr. Olympia title to Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan has returned with a vengeance. The former Mr. Olympia competed in his first Arnold Classic in Ohio and emerged as the victor. However, shortly after dethroning Samson Dauda, he defeated the Nigerian Lion again at the Arnold Classic UK. Hence, fans have questioned why Choopan isn’t on the IFBB Pittsburgh Pro guest list.

Some fans stated that not inviting Choopan seemed “disrespectful” to the reigning Arnold Classic champion. However, others have argued that Choopan didn’t get an invite because of VISA issues. However, neither the IFBB Pittsburgh pro nor Choopan spoke about the omission.

While the Pittsburgh Pro has delighted many bodybuilding fans with the announcement, Brian Powers’s comment seems uncharacteristic.
