Arnold Schwarzenegger returned to acting with a bang this year with FUBAR on Netflix. The TV show took the platform by storm and climbed to the top spot in US chats within days. Earlier this week, the 76-year-old former Mr. Olympia announced some great news for fans of his first TV show. Schwarzenegger revealed a tentative time frame for FUBAR season 2 on Netflix.

The bodybuilding legend appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and discussed everything from football to bodybuilding to acting and politics. During the show, McAfee asked Arnie about acting. Schwarzenegger then revealed that he’ll grace TV screens across the world sometime in Spring 2024 with the second season of FUBAR. Besides FUBAR, the Terminator actor also announced another project.

Arnold Schwarzenegger discussed FUBAR

Pat McAfee must not have been aware of Schwarzenegger’s recent projects, such as?FUBAR?or the docu-series?Arnold on Netflix. The host asked Arnie if he was still into acting. The 76-year-old actor revealed he was. No project starring the Hollywood action cinema icon will be released in the next few months. However, the actor mentioned FUBAR season 2.

“We are doing this coming spring, the second season of FUBAR,”?Schwarzenegger announced. The 76-year-old also said the show would take at least four and a half months to film in Toronto, Canada. While he didn’t announce any further news about the cast, all major characters will return for FUBAR season 2.

Unless something changes in the 11th hour, fans will see all their favorite characters from last season in the upcoming season as well. Besides FUBAR, the former Governor of California also spoke about another upcoming project. The author announced he would star in another film with his Twins and Junior co-star, Danny DeVito. However, Schwarzenegger and DeVito will start filming after FUBAR season 2.

The return of an iconic duo

The Austrian Oak and comedy cinema legend made an unlikely duo when teamed up for?Twins (1988).?Schwarzenegger and DeVito were one another’s opposites in stature and the genres they worked in. However, The Twins was a massive success that minted $216 million against a budget of #$18 million. Arnie also showed unexpected prowess in his first comedy.

The popularity of Twins prompted fans to beg for a sequel that never came. While Ivan Reitman made plans, his son shelved the project after his father’s passing. The last time Schwarzenegger and DeVito shared the screen was in Junior (1994). Now, the duo is back at it after two decades.
