The 26-year-old son of bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger has become quite popular in Brazil in the last few days. Joseph Baena attended the 2024 South American edition of his father’s namesake bodybuilding contest in Sao Paulo, Brazil. However, Baena didn’t just attend the Arnold Classic SA but filled for a talk show while wearing Arnie’s icon t-shirt.

The bodybuilder sported his father’s iconic ‘Arnold is Numero Uno’ t-shirt from Pumping Iron (1977). The seven-time Mr. Olympia wore the t-shirt after winning his sixth Mr. Olympia title. There is a famous still from the film that shows Arnold Schwarzenegger smoking a cigar and holding a glass of wine while basking in his victory.

While Joseph Baena recreated that image, he also added a unique twist to the bodybuilding icon’s t-shirt. Instead of Arnold, the t-shirt text read, ‘Joseph is Numero Uno.’ The 26-year-old also took off the shirt to show off his shredded back. The youngest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, filmed for the talk show The Noite com Danilo Gentili.

“Actor, DJ and son of none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger, for the first time in Brazil,” read the caption of the post on the talk show’s official page. The caption also claimed that the bodybuilding enthusiast had an “unprecedented chat with Danilo Gentili!” the host of the show. The actor also felt thankful for the show runners’ hospitality.

“Thanks for having me on the show. I had a great time,” Joseph Baena commented on the post. While his object might have been to attend the Arnold Sports Festival, Baena felt humbled by how Sao Paulo treated him. That’s because the talk show wasn’t the only place he went.

South America is passionate about soccer, and Joseph Baena didn’t want to miss the opportunity to attend a high-stakes regional championship. The bodybuilder attended the Paulistao final between Sao Paulo clubs Palmeiras and Santos. However, the youngest son of Arnold Schwarzenegger got another gift he may not have been expecting.

Before the final started, Palmeiras gifted Joseph Baena his custom Palmeiras jersey with his name tag on the back. The bodybuilding enthusiast must have also enjoyed the soccer match because Palmeiras won their 26th Paulistao with Joseph Baena in attendance. The green club defeated their rivals two goals to nil.
