Earlier, the bodybuilding legend’s son took to the platform formerly called Twitter to post about Rebel Moon. Since Netflix dropped the trailer for the two-part sci-fi saga, the internet has been abuzz with excitement. Patrick Schwarzenegger gave his two cents on the upcoming films.

While critics have rarely scored the filmmaker’s work highly, fans, on the other hand, have a different opinion. After working with DC, Zack Snyder has built up a massive and loyal fanbase. Hence, fans have waited with bated breath since Snyder announced the project.
And now Netflix has finally dropped the first trailer for the long-awaited sci-fi duology. Anthony Hopkins narrates the three-and-a-half-minute trailer, which shows glimpses of the two upcoming films. The trailer shows multiple factions vying for power, with the protagonist at the heart of it all. The action-packed trailer also shows scenes paying homage to sci-fi classics like Star Wars.

“This looks insane,” Patrick Schwarzenegger wrote in his post. Like many, the 29-year-old also noticed the references to famous space sci-fi films. “Like Avatar meets Dune meets Star Wars meets I don’t know what else,” added the Gen V actor. Netflix will release the first part of the movie series in December 2023, followed by the second installment in April 2024. Since this was the first trailer for the two-part saga, it raises an interesting question.

Shortly after the release of his Netflix series FUBAR, Arnold Schwarzenegger took on a special role for the streaming giant. Netflix partnered with the iconic Hollywood action star to promote their upcoming projects. So far, Schwarzenegger has appeared as the Chief Action Officer to promote Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 and Gal Gadot’s Heart of Stone.
