Days after fulfilling her dream of inaugurating the Women’s Comprehensive Health and Research Center, Maria Shriver has excitedly announced a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic. The ex-wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger continues her relentless battle against Alzheimer’s disease, a cause close to her heart. Shriver recently spearheaded a pivotal event emphasizing the power of collaboration in the quest for medical breakthroughs.

Recently, she co-hosted “The Power of Research: The Need for Gender Equity” luncheon, a collaborative effort involving the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, Cleveland Clinic, and the Society for Women’s Health Research.

Shriver felt proud to be part of hosting this event. In her post, she expressed and emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating, “Partnerships are crucial. We don’t get anywhere or get anything accomplished on our own.” Shriver was amazed to see many smart researchers, thinkers, and scientists all gathering together for one important reason: to find a cure for Alzheimer’s and to make sure women get fair treatment when it comes to health issues.

Furthermore, on April 24th, Shriver had unveiled the recipients of the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement grants, recognizing four outstanding researchers. Among them were Dr. Jessica Caldwell and Dr. Sandra Darling. Additionally, Dr. Tatiana Byzova and Dr. Eugene Podrez received the inaugural Moshlife Grant for their work in neuroscience and immunity. Dr. Taylor Fama Levine and Dr. Yuan Hou were also honored for their contributions. During the same event, Shriver stressed the importance of such grants.
