Arnold Schwarzenegger has frequented talk shows and podcasts in the last few weeks. Why, you ask? To promote his new book, Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life. Arnold has talked about his life and how his father telling him to “be useful” inspired the book. However, the former Governor of California hasn’t shied away from speaking about politics. In fact, the 76-year-old has spoken on the subject every time.

Earlier, the bodybuilding legend appeared on the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast. The Hollywood action star sat with O’Brien and his co-hosts, Sona Movsesian and Matt Gourley. During their conversation, the 76-year-old former governor mentioned the crisis of leadership in America. Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t hide what he felt

The former governor mentioned how most leaders today promise to return the nation to its golden days. However, no one who claimed to develop the nation to its full potential has lived up to the promise. The 76-year-old said the last leader who “kind of brought America back” was Ronald Reagan. The Austrian Oak said people are looking for such a leader once again.

However, Arnie showed no faith in America’s current leader or his competition. “I think… Biden is not gonna be the guy, I don’t think Trump is gonna be the guy,” claimed the former Mr. Olympia. However, the Governator believes there is someone out there who can step up. However, O’Brien said it’s getting late for someone of such caliber to step up for the 2024 election.

Schwarzenegger had a response. “Things change very quickly in politics… America has a lot of talent,” Arnie responded. Schwarzenegger ended his statement by saying that the POTUS and his biggest rival, former president Donald Trump, have failed to keep their promises. He claimed a new leader needs to bring “new energy” to shake things up. Arnie’s son also shares his father’s opinion.

Like Arnold Schwarzenegger did in his youth, Patrick Schwarzenegger also closely follows politics. The 30-year-old reacted to President Joe Biden announcing his re-election campaign for 2024. Schwarzenegger shared the video that Biden shared.

However, he didn’t have a positive reaction to the post. “Respect the guy, but cmon. This can’t happen,” wrote the bodybuilding legend’s son. While he didn’t say anything about the need for a new leader, the actor showed he wouldn’t prefer Biden getting re-elected.
