Swoll started calling out people who harassed others in their videos for views. Creating such content made him unpopular to many people. However, many more supported him. So what are Joey Swoll’s five rules??“You must get permission from anyone in the background to film,”?the personal trainer wrote as his first rule.?”If anyone requests you to stop filming, STOP,”?he wrote as his second rule. In the past, Joey Swoll has covered many videos where confrontations broke out because people didn’t stop filming despite other people voicing their objections.

Rule number three was also something that often causes conflicts between people who film their workouts and others who have no clue.?“Keep your setup out of the way of other members and equipment,”?wrote Swoll.?“If the gym is crowded, no filming is allowed,” was point four. Finally, “Be respectful of those around you,”?was the fifth rule he posted on Threads. However, the bodybuilding coach isn’t alone in his crusade to spread positivity.

Natalee Barnett is the embodiment of Joey Swoll’s rules

Fitness influencer Natalee Barnett already follows the rules Joey Swoll penned for people on the internet. Barnett is an influencer who makes fitness content at the gym. From motivational to instructional videos, Barnett films a lot of footage. However, unlike many influencers, she always makes sure not to hamper another person’s workout session.

From asking people if they are comfortable being filmed to letting them know that she intends to film, Barnett follows everything Swoll wrote down. The fitness influencer also uses her videos to teach others the basic etiquette one should follow. While many fitness influencers aim to motivate others or show off their progress, they forget about other people’s privacy. People like Joey Swoll and Natalee Barnett are simply trying to make others aware of the same.
