Bodybuilding?and fitness trainer Joey Swoll went viral on the internet after his videos criticizing people misbehaving in the gym. Swoll is an anti-influencer in many ways, as he points the finger at influencers who disregard others’ privacy for views and likes on social media. However, Joey Swoll’s approach has also invited infamy. A news?outlet even labeled him a misogynist?for calling out multiple female fitness influencers.

However, millions of people on the internet, including legends like?Arnold Schwarzenegger, have praised Joey Swoll for spreading positivity. His efforts have earned him the nickname ‘CEO of Gym Positivity.’ However, the man who points out problematic behavior just apologized for his actions inside the gym. So what prompted such an action?

The influencer violated one of his commandments

Joey Swoll observed some common trends after calling out countless people who made things difficult for other gymgoers. Recently, the bodybuilder laid some ground rules based on his observations. He called them the five?“Filming Rules in the Gym.”?However, earlier, the CEO of Gym Positivity violated the?first rule of his five commandments.

Swoll broke the?”You must get permission from anyone in the background to film,”?rule. Earlier, the bodybuilder shared a video of a man doing an acrobat stunt inside the gym. Instead of doing inclined presses with dumbbells, the man was doing burpees. The gymgoer grabbed two dumbbells and used the incline bench as an obstacle. He jumped over the bench with dumbbells in his hand, did a backflip, and then did a pushup.

In the later part of the clip, Joey Swoll copied the man and did the same stunt. However, Swoll didn’t do it inside a crowded gym. Yet, the only one present in the gym except Swoll didn’t approve of it. Joey Swoll’s dog seemed bothered by the stunt.?“The dog in the background did NOT give me permission to film him and barked at me. I have apologized to the puppers and given him lots of treats and belly rubs. I apologize to my community and all of you,”?Swoll wrote in the post’s comments section.?”I will do better and mind my own business,”?the influencer added.

While the influencer’s apology might seem hilarious, it shows how dedicated he is to his message.
