Classic Physique pro-turned Open-bodybuilder Regan Grimes has been dating Britt Johnstone since last year. While the bodybuilding power couple seemed happy in their relationship, they dropped some “exciting news” on April 11. Johnstone also announced that they’d be holding a gender reveal party. Earlier, the couple shared a snippet from the gender reveal party on Instagram.

The body-building power couple shared a clip of the moment they announced their baby’s gender. The competitive bodybuilders stood opposite one another with confetti in hand as the guests chanted a five-second countdown. Grimes announced they were having a boy as soon as the confetti exploded from the sticks. The couple embraced one another, and everyone in attendance rejoiced.

Britt Johnstone later posted photos from their gender reveal party on her social media. “Such an amazing day with the most amazing family and friends. I will cherish these memories forever. I’m so excited to meet our baby boy,” said the mom-to-be. The bodybuilding couple has already announced that they’re expecting baby Grimes to arrive in September 2024.

Bodybuilding veterans and fans flocked to the comments section of the clip to congratulate the couple. Johnstone thanked everyone in the follow-up post. “Thank you for all of the kind messages; I can’t believe I’m going to be a mom,” wrote the bikini competitor, who must’ve been pinching herself. Regan Grimes also posted multiple stories from the party.

Besides posting the gender reveal video, the bodybuilding icon shared the Instagram stories of the guests who attended the gender reveal party. However, the bodybuilder is yet to announce if the pregnancy has changed his plans for the upcoming Olympia. While they’re expecting in September, the Olympia is in October. Regan Grimes has to qualify if he wants to compete. However, both Grimes and the bodybuilding community focused on celebrating the moment.

The bodybuilding community cherished the couple’s joy 

Seven-time 212 Olympia champion Flex Lewis congratulated the couple. “It’s a boy congratulations,” commented the former champion. “Little dude’s gonna have the coolest hair and biggest chest ever,” wrote a fan. “Wicked!!! Congratulations you guy. No better feeling in the universe,” wrote another fan.
