The seven-time Mr. Olympia wrote that multiple studies have found?“exposure to chemicals in plastics could pose a significant threat to your health.”

While the 76-year-old explained his goals not to scare his readers with sensationalized findings, the facts are alarming. He also highlighted the two compounds causing the most concern,?“phthalates and bisphenols.”?The former bodybuilding champion said prolonged exposure to these two chemicals can produce similar results?“on obesity as a lack of exercise or poor diet.”?While these chemicals don’t cause obesity, eating food stored or heated in plastic containers tends to have higher levels of these chemicals. However, Arnie had some solutions.
