Months ago, Chris Bumstead and his fiancee Courtney King pleasantly surprised the bodybuilding world by announcing they were having a baby. The announcement came shortly after the reigning King of Classic Physique won his fifth title. Now, many continue to eagerly anticipate Baby Bum’s arrival as the couple provides regular pregnancy updates for their fans.

The latest of those came two days ago from Courtney King. After this, fans noticed that Chris Bumstead and his baby’s mother had been unusually quiet. Fans are also aware that King exceeded her due date over a week ago. However, the former Bikini Ms. Olympia didn’t seem to mind this.

“30 pounds of straight baby gut. I honestly have loved being pregnant & I will most definitely miss my belly,“ Courtney King announced in her pregnancy update. “@cbum can we do this again!?“ King asked Chris Bumstead. However, she also had one condition. “After we get married this time lol!“ wrote CBum’s fiancee.

King has used social media as a journal since announcing the pregnancy. She has shown off her baby bump as it’s grown, whether it’s through Instagram stories or posts. Interestingly, Chris Bumstead and Courtney King announced in a recent Q&A session that they hadn’t actually planned to have a baby before marriage.

In fact, CBum’s fiancee explained that they had almost confirmed a wedding venue when she discovered she was pregnant. King even recorded the bodybuilding champion’s reaction when she broke the news. However, the couple’s radio silence since has fans speculating.

Fans wait with bated breath

The fans couldn’t help but speculate why Courtney King and Chris Bumstead haven’t posted anything in the last two days. “Maybe she gave birth… Not posting (for) two days. Who knows? We‘re excited!!!“ a fan wrote. “I get more and more anxious when you don’t post on your story, lol! We’re all waiting for baby girl’s grand entrance,“ wrote a second fan.
