Chris Bumstead Shares Two Cents on Former CEO of PayPal’s Plans of Introducing ‘Olympics on Roids’: “Athletes Probably Already Take S**t”

Peter Thiel, renowned billionaire and PayPal co-founder recently invested a hefty amount in the Enhanced Games. It is a privately funded series of contests that is to be regarded as the modern reinvention of the Olympics. This move has ignited a huge controversy among the fitness community because of the open use of PEDs on stage for preparation.

While for some people it has come out as a cool idea, others are not so happy with it. 5X Mr. Olympia champion Chris Bumstead recently shared his view on it, and he is completely against the show. According to him, it might seem cool, but natty people can take down the athletes on a cycle any day. Here’s what CBum had to say about the Olympics of PEDs.

Bodybuilding legend Chris Bumstead in his recent YouTube video shared how he felt about the new Olympics. He stated that at first he thought it was a great idea and would make some ‘crazy sh*t’. However, he then added, “But realistically most of the athletes probably already take sh*t.”

And most of them who are on the cycle, know how to do it. And all the good athletes who have been training from a very young age will not take them at all. He said,  “And those are the people who are training way harder than someone at like 30 who’s like f*ck it I’m gonna take some st*roids and do the St*roid Olympics.”

According to him, a lifetime of proper nutrition and training for something even without st*roids is more beneficial than taking external stimulation to get bigger. However, he adds that it definitely would be interesting to watch. Chris Bumstead has never been an advocate for st*roid use. Even in one of his Q&A sessions, a kid asked him if he should get on a cycle. Here’s what the IFBB Pro replied.

Chris Bumstead warns youth about the usage of st*roids

In a conversation with Bet David, where CBum is asked about his relationship with PEDs, he states that in Dubai, when he was asked about st*roids, he told the kid not to take them. That is because, with the fast-paced benefits, they come with significant risks for the body. He adds that if you take one cycle, it can dump your natural testosterone and in that case, you have to be on TRT for the rest of your life.

CBum even stated that they can make you infertile and increase the chances of having a heart disease. So according to him, while it might feel tempting to get into an impressive physique with the help of st*roids, nothing is better than naturally crafting your physique.
