Chris Bumstead’s Touching Message to Daughter Sparks Heartfelt Reactions From Fans: “Best Parents of the Century”

Becoming a parent for the first time is one of the most precious moments of one’s life. The five-time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead and his fiancee Courtney King recently welcomed their first child into the world. A few days after becoming parents, the couple has continued sharing joyful moments with their newborn on their social media.

After becoming a father, CBum has embarked on a new journey in his life, and the five-time Mr. Olympia is enjoying it to the fullest. Recently, he posted a series of images on his Instagram capturing some precious moments after his daughter’s birth. Bumstead wrote a heartwarming caption that made his fans emotional with some even calling it the cutest thing on the internet. 

Bumstead lauds Courtney’s strength

The five-time Mr. Olympia captioned the pictures with a quote, “There is only one thing that I dread, not to be worthy of my sufferings.” He mentioned how he had read this quote the night before his partner went into labor. Bumstead continued and wrote, “I know it seems a little dramatic and it is, but hear me out.”

CBum highlighted how scared his partner was before her girl was born, as she was conceived with a natural birth. “The amount of fear she had about it all was a mirror for the amount of courage such a task would take,” wrote Bumstead. Furthermore, he shed light on the fact that Courtney stayed strong throughout the birth of her daughter, Bradley Shay.

The five-time Mr. Olympia wrote, “She remained strong in a way that can only be shown in the most challenging of situations, in a way that isn’t achievable from sheltering yourself from hard things.” He even had a message for his daughter in the caption, “I hope that one day you can see the same strength I see in your mother, both in her and in yourself.”

Moving forward he had one more thing to say to his daughter. “While I would love to shelter you from any and all pain, I will instead lovingly encourage you to take on the scary aspects of life with your head held high,” Bumstead wrote.

After coming across Bumstead’s words and pictures of the couple’s baby girl, fans filled the comment section with love for the Bumstead family.

A fan called the moment “the cutest thing

A fan of the five-time Mr. Olympia gave him and his partner a new tag, calling them the “Best parents of the century here.” The seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath, aka the Gift, also commented on the power of CBum’s words and wrote, “Powerful beyond words Brother!” Bumstead’s partner replied to the heartwarming post with a comment pouring all of her feelings into it: “We are beyond blessed to have you as our rock. Your girls love you SO much!!

A fan called being a father CBum’s greatest victory and penned, “Your real win are not the Mr. Olympia trophies, BUT your private life.” Another Instagram user wrote, “this caption! Loads of love for the little bum-family.” Witnessing such a wholesome moment, a fan poured his heart out in the comment, writing, “The cutest thing I ever seen in my life.
