“Crying Happy Tears”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter Congratulates Brother Patrick Schwarzenegger as He Gets Cast in Golden Globe-Winning Show

Katherine Schwarzenegger couldn’t control her happiness as her brother, Patrick, landed a role in the acclaimed HBO TV series that has won prestigious awards, including multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nods. Sharing her happiness about her brother getting cast for the third season of The White Lotus, Katherine Schwarzenegger took to Instagram to share the story with her followers. 

She wrote, “BRB just crying happy tears for my brother.” And why not, after all? Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son will be seen alongside the likes of a star-studded lineup of actors such as Emmy award winner Walton Goggins, The Conjuring 3 actress Sarah Catherine Hook, Aimee Lou Wood from the Sex Education, and Sam Nivola to the third installment of the series. As with previous casting announcements, details of their roles aren’t being made public for now.

For the 30-year-old, who has most recently starred in Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys spinoff series Gen V, The White Lotus will be a great addition to his acting career. Loved by critics and audiences, news of the much anticipated third season has finally started surfacing.   

The White Lotus is an American dark comedy-drama anthology series that follows the guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose interactions are affected by their various psychosocial dysfunctions. Following the footsteps of the first two seasons, the upcoming one is also set to feature an ensemble cast. The shooting for the third installment of the series will take place in Thailand.

The hit series won two Golden Globe awards last year. The series won the award for the Best Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film and Jennifer Coolidge also bagged an award for the Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film.

Patrick Schwarzenegger now gets to be a part of this popular series adding to his growing presence on TV, following the success of Gen V. In addition to his sister, his mother, Maria Shriver also sent a message to him on getting cast in the HBO series.

Maria Shriver is proud of Patrick Schwarzenegger

The actor’s mother continues to be his biggest cheerleader. After the Gen V star bagged the exciting role, Shriver took to Instagram and congratulated her son. “Patrick, Patrick, Patrick! I’m so proud of you!” Shriver wrote in her post. She mentioned that her son has already given her multiple reasons to be happy in 2024 after getting engaged, then featuring as the face of Emporio Armani, and now with his new role. 

“One of my favorite shows of all time, White Lotus! Wow!!! All that hard work and determination is really paying off,” added Maria Shriver.
