Bodybuilding is not just about flaunting a ripped physique. For a few individuals, it is their world, and they have devoted their lives to this sport and to win the most desirable Mr. Olympia title. However, one such bodybuilder is William Bonac, who dedicated his life to this sport. Despite taking time off from competing, his heart still pounds for Mr. O. It was disheartening for him to not compete this year.

I promise your sacrifices & focus will pay off. It’s only a matter of time before you come up!” He himself is an extremely dedicated person who is willing to make significant sacrifices to reach his goals. The father of two believes, “Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass away.” Abundant bodybuilders share a similar mindset, and it has brought them tremendous success. Their dedication and commitment to their goals have led to significant victories. However, earlier Bonac penned down an emotional post while updating his followers about his situation.

His still missing out on something

In the arena of bodybuilding, an athlete’s career is often short-term. Because this sport demands intense efforts, and as people age their bodies, the chances of an injury become higher and it takes time to recover. Besides this, some individuals beg to differ in early retirement, persistently pushing their limits and continuing to compete, even as they grow older. William is one of them.

He wrote in his post that the absence of “mood swings,” “forced meals,” “endless hours of cardio,” and “toxic substances” might have brought physical relief, but they’ve ushered in an emotional vacuum. A poignant line captures this situation best: “Yet I feel incomplete ’cause there’s something missing!!” Bridging passion and identity. What do you think is why he still feels empty and despite having the best, he still missing out on something, is it the SANDOW trophy?
