However, one such bodybuilder is William Bonac, who dedicated his life to this sport. Despite taking time off from competing, his heart still pounds for Mr. O. It was disheartening for him to not compete this year.

Bonac, however, never won a single Mr. Olympia to date. But has formidable motivation and respect for it. While taking time off from competition, he’s taking care of his life like a normal person. In one of his posts, he declared about his current situation.

The Ghanaian native’s latest Instagram story offers another positive attribute toward life as it quotes “My respect goes out to those grinding alone.. working, studying, going to the gym, and having values that don’t fit in with the crowd. I promise your sacrifices & focus will pay off. It’s only a matter of time before you come up!” He himself is an extremely dedicated person who is willing to make significant sacrifices to reach his goals. He understands what it takes to be in that position that you might have to distance yourself from others, but eventually, your hard work will lead to glorious success.

The father of two believes, “Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass away.” Abundant bodybuilders share a similar mindset, and it has brought them tremendous success. Their dedication and commitment to their goals have led to significant victories. However, earlier Bonac penned down an emotional post while updating his followers about his situation.

In the arena of bodybuilding, an athlete’s career is often short-term. Because this sport demands intense efforts, and as people age their bodies, the chances of an injury become higher and it takes time to recover. Besides this, some individuals beg to differ in early retirement, persistently pushing their limits and continuing to compete, even as they grow older. William is one of them.
