After a fierce battle of strength with the current Arnold Classic champion, Hadi Choopan, Samson Dauda is all set for the Arnold Classic UK next week. Days after Choopan dethroned him, he parted ways with his previous coach, Milos Sarcev. The Nigerian Lion now shares who he’ll be entering the upcoming competition with.

Dauda posted an Instagram story addressing all the questions fans were flooding his DM with. He replied,” Arnold Classic next week, peak week next week, what are we doing about it? Who’s taking me into the show? The one who’s taking me into the show next week is right here.

The Nigerian Lion dismisses all the rumors

The Nigerian Lion talked about how Marlena Gustowska, his wife was the one who picked him up from Praque and Romania and managed his peak for those two shows last year. He highlighted that his wife, Gustowska, has done this before and will be fine doing it again. Dauda confirmed that his wife is managing his peak for the upcoming Arnold Classic UK and said,” So she’s gonna be doing auto-classic for me next week.”

He further said, “I just want to answer that here and thereabouts.” The Nigerian Lion highlighted the fact that people are texting him with suggestions for his next coach. Dauda cleared the smoke, answering all those questions in his DMs through his story, saying, “We have no idea; we just not even thinking.” Samson is still not sure who will be his next coach, though for now, his wife will be at the forefront for the upcoming Arnold Classic UK.

There is still a doubt about who he will hire for his journey ahead. He also said he is still healing from the separation from his previous coach, Milos Sarcev. He expressed his dismay, saying,” When you are with somebody for a long time, you’re emotionally involved with that person.” Even though Dauda and Sarcev have now gone their separate ways, they had a good long run.

Dauda and Sarcev’s journey to the top

Dauda brought his coach Sarcev’s 90’s dream back to the stage of Arnold Classic 2023. The world’s top ten competitors, like Nick Walker and Big Ramy, participated in the event, but the Nigerian Lion emerged as the winner. Sarcev, in an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, talked about Samson being his only candidate to compete that year, and it served him well. He said, “For the Arnold Classic, I have only one competitor, Samson Dauda. But that one can, I hope, take the show. This is, uh, you know, my breed.”

The IFBB Pro coach highlighted Dauda as his perfect candidate. He shared that bodybuilding is much more than building muscles, and Samson is a combination of shape, mechanism, force, and balance. Sarcev’s goal was to bring back the 90s physique on stage, and Samson fulfilled that dream on the 2023 Arnold Classic’s stage.
