When the dust settled, Derek Lunsford won a hard-fought contest against defending champion Hadi Choopan. However, one of the favorites, Nigerian-born bodybuilder Samson Dauda settled for third place. While it’s only been about a week since the biggest annual bodybuilding contest concluded, the pros are already back on stage. Tabanni and De Asha qualified for the 2023 Mr. Olympia but couldn’t make it to the United States because of visa-related issues. While Tabani was granted a Visa, the processing took so long that he missed the contest. Meanwhile, De Asha had to turn back after landing on US soil. Hence, fans wanted to see a pitched battle between the trio, and they were not disappointed.

While Samson Dauda looked impressive, Tabani and De Asha gave him a run for his money. In fact, after pre-judging, many fans agreed that Samson Dauda wouldn’t cruise to an easy victory. However, the Nigerian Lion did enough to pull ahead of Behrooz Tabani. Although the Iranian put up an impressive fight, Duada’s superior proportions and size saw him through. The Arnold Classic Champion won the show and walked away with $10,000 in prize money. However, Dauda isn’t the only one keeping active.
