Just days before his appearance at the Toronto SuperShow, he set the internet ablaze with a series of stunning photos showcasing his aesthetics and symmetry.

John-Augustin shared a carousel post which included six pictures, on his Instagram. These images, featuring classic poses like the double bicep, rear lat spread, side chest, back double biceps, front bicep, and back bicep pose, highlighted his incredible dedication and passion for bodybuilding.

Edgard John-Augustin posted the images with a caption reflecting his hard work, dedicated to his coach. “First update for my coach @calum_teamprocoach in Toronto,” he captioned his photos. “After around 20h flight and almost no carbs,” he revealed. The Toronto Pro SuperShow takes place on June 8th and 9th At the Delta Toronto Airport & Conference Center, 655 Dixon Road- Toronto, Ontario.

It includes Open Men’s & Women’s Bodybuilding, 212 Bodybuilding, Wheelchair Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s & Women’s Physique, Figure, Wellness and Bikini categories. Winners in the Open categories will qualify for the 2024 Olympia, making this event a significant milestone for competitors. At four years old, his life changed forever when he lost both legs in a car accident. Despite this devastating event, he found strength and solace in bodybuilding. Facing severe bullying in high school due to his disability, he discovered a gym in Paris, where he began weightlifting. This newfound passion soon became a driving force in his life, leading him to pursue a career in bodybuilding.

In 2015, John-Augustin made his debut in a bodybuilding competition. Though he wasn’t judged in his first show, just 15 days later, he triumphed at the European IFBB Wheelchair Bodybuilding Championship. Since then, there has been no turning back. Augustin has participated in numerous NPC and IFBB Pro shows, even placing fourth at last year’s Toronto Pro SuperShow. Now, the father of two is once again ready to shine on the bodybuilding stage. Beyond his stage presence, John-Augustin’s influence extends to fitness-friendly brands like BoohooMAN.

During an Interview with Muscle & Fitness, he unveiled, “I have worked with BoohooMAN for over five years.” Further, he added, “I love the fact that they always renew the collections and their prices are affordable.” His collaboration with the brand includes the Bionic Body activewear line, featuring innovative designs and high-performance materials.

Looking ahead, John-Augustin has ambitious plans for 2024. “One of my biggest goals for 2024 is to organize my 4th competition in France; the Bionic Body Classic,” he revealed in the interview. He highlighted, “It will take place in September 2024 and, for the first time, it will be a Grand Prix, not related to any federation. Brands can contact me if they want to be part of this project!”

Edgard John-Augustin’s story is one of triumph over adversity. His journey from a trauma survivor to a bodybuilding champion is a powerful message that with passion and perseverance, even the most formidable obstacles can be conquered.
