Arnold Schwarzenegger and Phil Heath are both seven-time Mr. Olympia winners. However, Schwarzenegger’s contribution to bodybuilding goes far beyond becoming a prolific champion. Arnie has promoted the sport for over five decades. He has also provided a platform for athletes to shine through the Arnold Classic. So when Phil Heath caught up with the legend, he cherished the opportunity to train with the 75-year-old.
Earlier, Heath posted an image with Arnold Schwarzenegger, clicked during their training session at the Mecca of bodybuilding, Gold’s Gym. The seven-time Mr. Olympia described the memorable experience and penned a heartfelt tribute to the Austrian Oak.

Phil Heath revealed that he felt excited to “catch a workout,” with the 75-year-old. He admired that even at 75, Schwarzenegger trains daily at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California. “High standards of health and wellness being a top priority so that he can thrive in all areas of his life,” revealed the former Arnold Classic Europe winner.

Heath also revealed what he and the Austrian talked about “in between sets,” during their training session. Besides chatting about the sport they love, the duo spoke about “life and all of its opportunities,” which “was even more valuable,” for the 43-year-old. Arnie also gave some valuable advice to the bodybuilding champion.
“To receive instruction from this man is something I am forever grateful for,” stated Heath. “Will definitely use those nuggets of wisdom to stack some more wins in my life,” he added. The former Mr. Olympia also wrote about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s upcoming Netflix documentary, stating the Austrian “has exhibited greatness throughout and believe that he is far from slowing down.”

In fact, the Governator’s infectious energy fueled Phil Heath to work out two more hours than he had planned. “I definitely needed this interaction,” wrote the 43-year-old. He also listed his takeaways from their conversation.

Phil Heat wrote about four “key takeaways,” from his conversation with the bodybuilding legend. “GREATNESS has no limits,” stated Heath. Those who achieve it continuously learn and improve themselves. His second takeaway was listening and learning from those who are more experienced.

Although Heath and Arnie have the same number of Olympia titles, “there are experiences he has which I can learn from,” Heath said. Gratitude and service were the other two takeaways for the 43-year-old. Despite being among the greatest bodybuilders of all time, Schwarzenegger respects people from all walks of life. Heath also described Arnie as “a servant leader who truly wants the best for everyone.”
