Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have four children together. Shriver stood by the icon during his bodybuilding career, Hollywood stint, and as the Governor of California. After 25 years, their dream-like marriage fell apart in 2011. Shriver discovered Schwarzenegger had fathered a son as a result of an affair. However, that’s a thing of the past. Both are now grandparents.

The action star with a $450 million net worth remains on good terms with his ex-wife. “There?s no reason for me to feel anything?other than love for her,” he said recently.

In an exclusive interview with ‘People’ magazine, the 76-year-old fitness icon opened up about his family and personal life. People inquired about the former Mr. Universe entering a new phase of his life. The publication asked how his relationship with Maria Shriver had evolved “now that you?re grandparents.”

The seven-time Mr. Olympia responded positively. Arnie said, “We never left the [first] chapter. Because, remember, it?s not like we had a feud. We didn?t have a fight.” As Schwarzenegger asserts, things were okay between the couple before he confessed to his extramarital affair. “It?s just my f***up, right?”?he said.

“We always made it very clear that the kids should not suffer because of that,”?he told People. Schwarzenegger said he and Shriver have separate lives but get together on special family occasions. Arnie, Shriver, and their kids recently met for a celebration.

On September 18, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver, and their children?gathered to celebrate Patrick Schwarzenegger’s 30th birthday. Chris Pratt, Arnie’s daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger’s husband, also attended the celebration. Patrick uploaded pictures from the party on social media.
