Baena is training hard in the gym since it’s almost become an unwritten rule for a lead actor to boast a chiseled physique.

Joseph Baena is questioning a long-held belief

Baena has been a regular at the gym. His fans wait for his health/physique updates on his social media. But the latest update by Schwarzenegger’s youngest doesn’t seem much promising. Beana in his recent Instagram story, posted a tired selfie. “Woke up feeling under the weather, but still tried to train this AM,” wrote Baena.

While he hit the gym, his health got worse. “Did first warmup set and got a big headache and nausea,” Bena informed his 431,000 followers. However, the young actor also felt he didn’t catch a cold by chance. “Don’t think it’s a cold, flu of allergies,” he speculated in the caption of his Instagram story.

“Pretty sure my body is just tired of being over trained. Always said ‘overtraining is a myth’ but today I’m definitely feeling like my body is telling me to rest,” Baena stated. Overtraining has been a topic for debate in the fitness community for decades. There are die-hard believers and non-believers.

While Baena was among the non-believers he might be questioning it. “Anyone else get like this before or am I actually just sick?” asked Baena. However, like most things related to bodybuilding, Arnold Schwarzenegger might have the answer.

Does Arnold Schwarzenegger believe in overtraining?

In Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Blueprint to Cut video, the reporter asked him about his opinion on overtraining. Schwarzenegger replied that he preferred to be overtrained, especially when a contest was right around the corner. The seven-time Mr. Olympia said he responded to “piling on,”, especially during contest prep. However, he did acknowledge the phenomenon.

While Schwarzenegger responded better to overtraining, he didn’t recommend it for everyone. Eight-time Mr. Olympia Lee Haney also warned against the ill effects of overtraining in a recent interview. While Joseph Baena is unsure what’s wrong with him, only time will tell if he changes his mind.
