“Dude Needs a Break”: Samson Dauda’s Plans for Arnold Classic UK Leaves Fans Worried Over His Health

In an intense battle of strength at the 2024 Arnold Classic, Samson Dauda was dethroned by Hadi Choopan. However, just days after, Dauda shared a post regarding the health issues he’s facing, shocking the bodybuilding realm. Dauda talked about his body failing due to a fierce showdown with the Persian Wolf.

Despite the health issues emerging, the Nigerian Lion has decided to compete in the Arnold Classic UK. He will be facing prominent bodybuilding icons like James Hollingshead, Akim Williams, and Hadi Choopan. But he did have a reason for why he was hell-bent on participating in the UK edition of the Arnold Classic.

Dauda posted a story on his Instagram, explaining how was not going to miss a show that was happening in the UK, because he is based there. “I’m definitely doing the Arnold Classic UK next week don’t believe anything you hear anywhere else,” he revealed. Dauda is currently working on his dehydration from the weekend and drinking tonnes of water to increase his hydration quickly for the competition ahead.

Despite all his health problems, Dauda had also hit the gym right after returning from the hospital. He is now training for the upcoming event and is ready to give it his all again. The Nigerian Lion will be facing the Persian Wolf in a rematch of what happened at the Arnold Classic, and this will definitely be a fierce battle to look out for.

After the Arnold Classic, there was another update about Dauda that had fans shocked. Days after the event, the former champion’s coach, Milos Sarcev posted a video on his Instagram informing the community about their separation, captioning the video,” This was our “last dance.” So it seems like Dauda might be competing without a trainer for the Arnold Classic UK.

That being said, fans do not seem very supportive of his sudden decision to compete. Many took to comment on a Generation Iron Instagram post which confirmed Dauda’s participation at the Arnold Classic UK. 

Fans seem agonized about Dauda’s health

One fan advised Dauda against rushing to the event and wrote,” Dude needs a break.” Another fan expressed his concern about Dauda’s decision and urged him to wait till Mr. Olympia, commenting, “You’re no good if your body is failing.

One follower hoped that even if Dauda competes at the UK event, he will look to rest after it, and wrote, “Hopefully he wins n take a break n a good rest.” One fan was surprised at Dauda’s sudden change of plans and wrote, “Yesterday his body was failing but today…what the hell I’ll do another show in a week! What?

Lastly, one gave his advice to the Nigerian Lion on not forcing himself to compete and commented, “No need to force yourself like that it aint healthy.”
