The New York Pro is almost around the corner, and all the athletes are doing their best training for the show. Nick Walker, aka the Mutant, has always been the hot topic of debate since he announced his comeback to sports after his hamstring injury back in 2023, which led him to drop out of the Olympia championship.

Since then, the IFFB Pro hasn’t competed and is now all set to make his comeback to the game with his exceptionally well-maintained physique. Recently, the Mutant posted a video on Instagram of him doing a shoulder dumbbell press. Surprisingly, fans praised the Mutant, eagerly awaiting his presence on stage.

In the video, the IFBB Pro bodybuilder was seen doing shoulder presses with 140-pound dumbbells. He did eight reps in total with such a heavyweight. The Mutant did the first seven, making it look like child’s play, but struggled a bit in the last rep. His form and technique while doing the exercise were on point.

The IFBB Pro was satisfied with his performance and captioned the post, “I guess today is the day I felt those good “prep feels”.” He further explained that he was aiming to do an extra rep from his last workout, but he went one rep down. The Mutant wrote, “It’s okay it happens, overall still a very good workout and extremely good pump.”

The Mutant’s comeback at the NY Pro is not going to be that easy because of the presence of current NY Pro Champion Tonio Burton on the stage. However, the NY Pro stage is a known territory for the Mutant, as he won the title back in 2021. Walker’s fans praised him for his technique and especially for not shouting like other bodybuilders. They found the video soothing to watch and mentioned it was a pleasure to see him exercising.
