After winning his fifth Classic Physique Olympia title, Chris Bumstead and his partner Courtney King announced that they’re about to become parents. Now, the modern-day bodybuilding icon has given his millions of followers another reason to celebrate. Cbum and King posted about the gender reveal of their unborn child. Hours after revealing that he was about to become a “girl dad”, Cbum made another post.

The five-time Classic Physique Olympia winner posted a picture of himself kissing his partner’s baby bump. Besides posting the image, Cbum wrote a long and heartfelt message to his fans explaining his emotions as he prepares to step into fatherhood. 

Chris Bumstead welcomes fatherhood with open arms

The King of Classic Physique explained that he has learned to become “strong, confident, resilient,” and other “manly” qualities. However, he has also experienced situations that taught him to be “selfless, empathetic, and vulnerable.” the 28-year-old explained that everything he has learned will become even more relevant as he prepares to raise his child.

“I am honestly so excited for this new chapter of life,” said the reigning champion. While he is ready to provide and protect, he’ll do so with a “gentle and loving heart.” The Canadian bodybuilder has defeated injuries and autoimmune diseases. Through these trials and tribulations, Bumstead has learned the importance of balancing “masculine and feminine energy.”

Cbum has learned that an individual needs both sides to become a better human being. The five-time champion believes he is ready to put all of this into practice as he awaits the beginning of a new chapter. Chris Bumstead ended his message by saying that he is looking forward to becoming the father that his unborn baby girl deserves. The fans resonated with their champion.

The fans show love to their champion 

Many fans who are fathers welcomed the bodybuilding star into the club. “Amen!! Congratulations and Welcome to #fatherhood The Best Club Ever!!” commented one fan. A father of four explained that the King of Classic Physique is in for a ride. “I have four girls…you are in for quite a ride. Being a girl dad is the best,” said Bumstead’s fan.

However, many jokingly lamented the fact that they won’t be seeing Cbum becoming the father to the future Classic Physique champion. “Project Bumstead cancelled,” joked one fan. Other fans claimed Cbum and Courtney King’s child will have better genetics than everyone else. “Kid’s genetics gonna be crazy,” one fan wrote. “Kid already has bigger calves than me,” joked another fan.

After conquering the bodybuilding stage, Chris Bumstead eagerly awaits to prove himself as a good father.
