Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s son, Joseph Baena, excitedly announced that he would attend his first-ever Arnold Classic. However, the bodybuilding enthusiast didn’t attend the Arnold Classic in Ohio, but the Arnold Classic UK in Birmingham. As bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son and a bodybuilder himself, Baena was immensely excited about the prestigious event. However, witnessing two of the best bodybuilders in the world pose gave him a reality check.

Baena earned his place at the bodybuilding show in Birmingham, not as Annie’s youngest son, but as a sponsored athlete. Baena’s impressive physique earned him a sponsorship from Young LA, who flew him out to England. The 26-year-old posted a clip of the front-row view of Samson Dauda and Hadi Choopan posing onstage with an honest confession.

“POV: You’re front row at a bodybuilding competition,” wrote the actor before flipping from the selfie camera to the main one. The footage showed 2024 Arnold Classic champion Hadi Choopan and Samson Dauda having their rematch on stage. “Feeling extra small after that show…” Joseph Baena confessed in the caption.

The clip showed Choopan and Dauda hitting their favorite most muscular pose. The most muscular makes a bodybuilder look bigger than any other pose. Hence, it’s no surprise that the 26-year-old natural bodybuilder felt small in front of two champion professional bodybuilders. As for the battle between the two bodybuilding titans, Choopan emerged victorious again.

“Congratulations to the champ Hadi Choopan and the runner-up Samson Dauda. You both crushed it and came in looking incredible,” wrote Joseph Baena. Although Samson Dauda looked considerably better than he did at Ohio, even the home advantage wasn’t enough for the UK resident to beat the Persian Wolf. However, despite feeling small, Joseph Baena has a lot to be proud of.

A bodybuilding legend’s son carving his own legacy

Although he could’ve attended the Arnold Classic UK or previous Arnold Classics, the bodybuilding legend’s son wanted to earn his spot at the show. While he said he has no plans of following his father’s footsteps to the bodybuilding stage, earning the Young LA sponsorship for his physique was also a major achievement.

Besides bodybuilding, the actor also wants to build his career as an actor. Just like Arnie’s eldest son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Joseph Baena doesn’t want to stand on the shoulders of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Joseph Baena also dreams of building a lasting legacy in bodybuilding and acting like The Terminator, but not by riding his father’s coattails.

While Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son felt small in front of the former Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan and the 2023 Arnold Classic champion Samson Dauda, one has to consider Baena is a natural bodybuilding enthusiast who doesn’t compete.
