55-YO Mike O’Hearn Reveals Favorite Arm Workout or Bigger Biceps

Hitting the biceps is the most important part of one’s arms day, as is attaining enormous 22-inch biceps like the four-time Mr. University Mike O’Hearn. Many gym freaks try new exercises in the process of achieving massive biceps. But this time you’re in luck; the Titan unveiled the best bicep exercise he does and uploaded the video on his YouTube channel.

The exercise is pretty simple, but with a few adjustments, the former Mr. California made it special. He is back in the gym from his upcoming project’s shooting that took place a few days ago this month. Mike O’Hearn has been constantly working out without skipping a day since then. So how does he maintain such big guns even at his age?

In the video, O’Hearn is seen with his newest disciple, Tony, from his ‘Train with Titan’ program. He frequently trains with the former powerlifter, as seen in his recordings. This time, they focused on doing unilateral movements and single-hand bicep curls. But there was one exercise that O’Hearn added to the more efficient workout.

The former powerlifter fixed Tonny’s form and advised him not to lift his elbow while doing reps. Making adjustments to the form, he rested his other hand on the stand and put his elbow near the middle.  This helped Tonny feel the right effect of the exercise.

Mike O’Hearn’s wife, Mona, while recording the video, was impressed by Tonny’s form as she said, “Good job, kiddo.Then, both of them engaged in a hilarious moment and made a funny remark about the former Mr. Universe’s biceps. Mona said, “His biceps look pregnant for sure.”

O’Hearn did biceps curls while following the hammer curl movement for extra time under tension. They ended their workout by doing a few single-hand bicep curls with a rod. Previously, the Titan trained a UFC star in similar ways, mentoring him in bodybuilding. 

Paulo Costa trains with Mike O’Hearn

Earlier this month, Brazilian mixed martial artist Paulo Costa had an arms day with Mike O’Hearn. The former Mr. Universe uploaded the short video to his YouTube channel. In the clip, the 55-year-old looked surprised after witnessing Costa’s technique in exercising, as he said, “I thought you were a UFC fighter. I didn’t know you were a bodybuilder.

Mike O’Hearn closely focused on the UFC athlete’s form, and Costa did the reps slowly, increasing the time under tension for optimal gains. Seeing someone doing the exercise with an accurate form who is not from the bodybuilding world is rare, and the Titan quoted Costa’s workout as “beautiful.” He pushed the Brazilian MMA athlete’s limit and made him do extra reps.
