The Gladiator took an interesting turn in his fitness journey by seeking posing lessons from Galagan. Morsia and Galagan shared a joint post on Instagram with a glimpse of their exciting bodybuilding pose session. In his Instagram post, Morsia asked for guidance, “Can you just teach me a couple of poses?” showing eagerness to learn and improve his presentation skills.

Matt Morsia seeking lessons from Vladislava Galagan

The 27-year-old bodybuilder, patiently shared tips with Morsia, offering insights into techniques like flaring lats and positioning the chest forward. Morsia, in his candid and humorous manner, struggles with some poses, however, showed a willingness to keep trying. As they mentioned in the post caption, “Basically an IFBB Pro at this point…”

He showed admiration for her shredded physique and the way she flaunted her muscles while showcasing a front double bicep pose, “Those quads, mate.” He expressed the difficulty of attempting to flare his arms. Galagan empathized with him and said, “Lots of people find it difficult.” In addition, he proceeded with the abdominal and thigh pose, and she instructed him to suck in your tummy so that his abdomen would be visible.

Lastly, he attempted the back double biceps pose, to which she urged, “Come on. You have to open more” Morsia replied, “that’s as open as they go.” However, during this session, Galagan was sharing tips, and Morsia sarcastically repeated, “Yeah, when you have lats,” and they both shared a laugh about it. Nonetheless, the fitness influencer and former athlete has become an elite member of the industry with his determination and resilience.

Morsia’s unconventional journey: from powerlifting to fitness sensation

The 37-year-old’s journey began as a triple jumper with dreams of reaching the London Olympics. Unfortunately, a stress fracture in his back halted his Olympic aspirations for six long months. Instead of giving up, Morsia found solace in the gym and developed a newfound passion for weightlifting. Switching to powerlifting, Morsia excelled in 2016’s European Championships, earning a silver medal. He displayed incredible strength like bench pressing 396 lbs, dead lifting 705 lbs, and squatting 584 lbs, fueled by a daily intake of 6000 calories.
