Another day and another Joseph Baena physique update. The youngest son of bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger loves sharing his physique updates with fans. Meanwhile, fans flood every post with comments about how he shares similar genetics with Schwarzenegger. However, this time a former Mr. Olympia left an intriguing comment on Baena’s post.

The 1983 Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout commented on the 26-year-old’s post. The Lebanese bodybuilding commented on the post where he hit two of his father’s iconic poses. The bodybuilder hit the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger mantis pose, and in another, he hit the famous front double biceps with a vacuum.

Baena’s execution impressed the former Mr. Olympia. However, he also confessed to taking inspiration from and replicating Arnold Schwarzenegger on stage. I stole some of your dad’s poses, said the bodybuilding veteran. “Now you’re doing the same, wrote Samir Bannout.

While scores of fans have praised Joseph Baena’s physique and posing, this is the first time The Lebanese Lion has praised the 26-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although getting praise online motivates Baena, a former Mr. Olympia’s praise must’ve boosted Baena’s confidence.

Samir Bannout’s confession also showcases the impact Arnold Schwarzenegger had on bodybuilding. Although Arnie officially retired in 1981, his reign from 1970 to 1975 immediately inspired bodybuilders. As soon as the 1980s, the Austrian Oak was inspiring other champions.

Over the decades, the impact of Arnold Schwarzenegger has only grown. While Joseph Baena is his son, nearly every bodybuilder considers the seven-time Mr. Olympia as one of their idols. Samir Bannout was no different and had no qualms in admitting it. Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger continues to push the envelope into competitive bodybuilding.
