Corso’s family shared news of his passing away on Instagram. The official cause of death was not shared. He suffered a stroke earlier this month and lost his ability to talk. Phil Heath expressed his gratitude to the dearly departed through an Instagram post on his account.

A fathering figure to many Guy Del Corso

To Heath, Corso was more than a mentor; he was a friend, a source of strength, and motivation. He mentioned Corso as one of the strongest men he ever knew, not just physically but also spiritually. Corso’s role as a father and husband left an incredible mark on the people around him.
