Lee Haney unveils his biggest threat in the 80s

The legendary bodybuilder reminisced about his prime days when he used to compete. The one competitor who gave chills to him was Mendenhall. According to him, Mendenhall was a real-life superhero. He compared his body with the iconic cartoon character that has a jaw-dropping physique.

The 63-year-old bodybuilder said in the video, “One in particular and I was just talking about this that I really kept my eyes on that was whoa, man. I said this guy get it together.” He mentioned the name of this incredibly talented bodybuilder. “Man, I would have a hard time that was Matt Mendenhall. This guy was walking talking He-Man perfect calves wide back and great biceps great chest great thighs he had everything he was a cartoon a real-life He-Man cartoon,” said the bodybuilder in the short video.

He-Man who never made it big in bodybuilding

When he was just 15 years old, he suffered from an acute injury on his forearm. He almost amputated his forearm. Being a part of a fitness and bodybuilding enthusiast family, he was pushed to the mentality of never giving up despite any challenges.

Afterward, he was so encouraged that he started lifting weights. According to the greatest physique, he began competing in high school. He won his first title in 1978 at Mr. Ohio High School. At the age of 22, he lost to Lee Haney. However, he last competed in the year of 1991 NPC Nationals and secured fifth place. It was believed that due to his serious injuries throughout his career, he never fully recovered, which led him to retire from the sport.
