Anti-aging advocate Bryan Johnson has turned himself into an experiment subject. The multi-millionaire former tech entrepreneur has meticulously crafted every aspect of his day-to-day life to anti-aging. For Johnson, the goal is to break new ground in anti-aging research. Now, the founder of the bulletproof diet has joined the 46-year-old fellow bio-hacker in echoing a similar sentiment toward aging.

David Aspery, biohacking expert and author, appeared on the popular Jay Shetty podcast. During the conversation, the duo talked about how people perceive aging. However, when Shetty expressed his approach toward aging, Asprey called him out and asked him to aim higher.

While talking about anti-aging, podcast host Jay Shetty revealed his approach toward aging is to maintain his physical and mental wellness. Shetty said his goal is to “make getting older easy.” However, the bulletproof diet founder called out Shetty and said, “Your goals suck.” The podcast host was taken aback by the Asprey’s assessment. Yet, the author had more to say.

“How about… ‘I want to stop getting old’,” said the 50-year-old author and dietician. Asprey further expanded his statement saying Shetty’s goal should be to stay as he is now or get even fitter with time. He then asked the host if the ideal vision of halting aging felt more inspiring. Aspery said the notion of “getting old” is so “built in,” it feels liberating to think outside the box.

Bryan Johnson also approaches his anti-aging practices through the ideal vision of halting and reversing aging. The former tech entrepreneur spends millions a month on his quest to fight aging. Johnson incorporates everything from supplements to TRT to inter-generational blood plasma transfusion. David Aspery also said that with today’s technology, one’s biological age can be lower than their chronological one.

Unsurprisingly, Bryan Johnson is among those who have transformed their appearance through optimized habits. He has also lowered his biological age. The anti-aging advocate kept up with bodybuilding and fitness influencer Jesse James West despite being 46. When the 23-year-old worked out with Johnson, he was more than a match for the competitive bodybuilder.

Besides Bryan Johnson, former six-time Mr. Olympia Dorain Yates is also biologically younger than his calendar age. Earlier this year, the 61-year-old bodybuilding champion underwent a series of tests. The test results showed Yates was much fitter than those in his age group. Despite being 61, Yates performed like someone in their thirties.
