Derek from the YouTube channel More Plates More Dates rose to popularity after taking the popular natty or not a genre and introducing detailed technical analysis. His content also aims to educate the viewer on various PEDs. Recently, he became the first individual to expose Liver King as a fake natural with proof. While many believed Liver King was being untruthful, Derek from MPMD showed proof even Brian “Liver King” Johnson couldn’t dismiss. Earlier today, the YouTuber with over 1.8 million subscribers analyzed an Arnold Schwarzenegger interview.

In the May 24 interview with Men’s Health, the seven-time Mr. Olympia got candid about his steroid use. During his conversation with Ebenezer Samuel, the bodybuilding icon revealed which compounds he used in the 70s. MPMD gave his opinion on the claims and tried to find out if the bodybuilding legend’s statement aligned with his previous confessions.

At the beginning of the video, Derek opened the Men’s Health article where the Austrian Oak talked about his steroid use and read it out loud. The f75-year-old revealed he only took two performance-enhancing drugs. “Testosterone and D-Bol,” wrote Ebenezer Samuel. “One hundred milligrams (of testosterone) a week,” and “three Dianabol a day, so that was 15 milligrams,” Schwarzenegger told Men’s Health.

Ebenezer also provided a link to a previous interview, where the Governator had admitted to steroid use. MPMD opened the link and found Schwarzenegger’s latest claim lined up with the interview. While he didn’t reveal the D-bol dosage in the interview, the testosterone matched. Derek said that the Austrian Oak’s usage matched modern TRT doses, meaning his regimen was mild compared to today’s bodybuilders.

In the interview, the former Mr. Olympia also said the same thing. He said modern bodybuilders take too many PEDs at much higher dosages. The 75-year-old also warned people not to replicate his cycle“As if it’s like the most egregious regimen ever. It’s like literally borderline replacement bro,” said Derek. However, the YouTuber also doesn’t support steroid usage, especially if someone is not a professional bodybuilder.

However, Derek investigated further. While Ebenezer linked the past interview, the YouTuber also brought up other sources to verify the authenticity of Arnie’s statement.

Derek referenced Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 2012 book, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story. “He gives insight into his first steroid cycle… it seems to line up with what he said, but he was pretty vague,” said the Youtuber. MPMD also cross-verified the statement of another golden-era bodybuilder to see if Arnie didn’t give the entire picture.

Derek then revealed Steve Davis, a golden era bodybuilder who was Schwarzenegger’s contemporary. He highlighted a 2012 interview Davis did with Rick Drazen. In the interview, Davis’s statement was nearly identical to what Arnie had claimed. “In my era, it was three dianabol a day and a shot (testosterone) a week,” Davis told Drazen. However, he also claimed “certain Austrians” took four shots each week.

In the end, Derek concluded that the Hollywood action icon didn’t have any major inconsistencies whenever he opened up about steroids. However, he also speculated if the doses Arnie and other golden-era bodybuilders confessed to could have much of an enchanting effect in the first place.
