This year something surprising happened in the world of bodybuilding before Mr. Olympia 2023 event. Many male and female bodybuilders withdrew, much to the surprise of us all. The Olympia is a prestigious event started by Joe Weider, back in 1965. Arnold Schwarzenegger helped make it a mainstream sport, and everybody had dreamt of winning this coveted title once. Nick Walker’s heartbreaking withdrawal from Olympia

Mr. Olympia shared a video on their Instagram account where Walker sadly said that it was a difficult decision to make, but “I will not be competing in this year’s Mr. Olympia due to a hamstring tear.” His brutal injury made him quit this year.

The IFBB pro’s latest Instagram post disheartened his fans and followers around the world. He captioned this reel video, “Making the best of it.” He’s showing his mental strength during this difficult time. Because Olympia is scheduled on 2nd November. It must be killing him inside that despite coming this close to performing on the prestigious stage, he won’t be able to do that anymore. The discipline he maintained, and the sacrifices he made to pursue his dream, ended for this year.
